Why Sew?
There is something inside of me that is constantly yelling "create" and sewing has been my way of providing the creative fix. I love taking pieces of beautiful fabric and cutting and piecing and sewing them together to create something useful and beautiful. There is something very satisfying in experimenting and stretching and stepping out of my box. I love to sew and hope that this simple blog will inspire you to create something of your own.

Amy--You are soooo talented. I love Bridgets bag and I am thinkin' I need you to tell me what the going rate is for your placemat bags. I am going to attempt to make some of my own, but it would be excellent to order some nice, pretty, perfect ones from you as well. Also, what do you charge to just embroider initials or names on these bags? Okay, I am starting to have lots of questions surface, so lets chat about this a bit sometime soon.

Placemat purses are $18-20. To have just the name embroidered on your own bag would be $5 per name. It is easier to do the embroidery before youe sew the bag. Call or email and we can chat.
