This has been a wonderful and busy Christmas season. I hope that you have enjoyed family, friends and good food as we have. I'm sure that I am leaving out some of my projects from the past month, but I've lost track. From what I can remember since November I've made around 20 placemat purses, 8 totes, 4 draw string backpacks, embroidered names on 6 throws, one baby set... and the list goes on and on. Thank you to all that have trusted me in creating that perfect gift. This is something that I love and hope that you love the finished product. I am looking forward to a great 2008 and wish you a very happy New Year!

My Favorite Color Is Light Tan
OK, my favorite color isn't really light tan... but I couldn't help but include a Nacho quote. I don't claim to take great pictures and this one proves it, but I loved this bag and wanted to include it in the blog. It's hard to tell but the leaf embroidery goes along both sides as well as across the top and it has tiny pearls places throughout the embroidery. I used bamboo and rope handles tied, of course, with ribbon bows.

Tooth Fairy Pillow
We just discovered that my oldest has his first loose tooth. I'm sure we have a while before it actually falls out... but a Mom has to be prepared. This pillow is approx. 8" x 8" and is the prefect size to hang on the bed post when the big night arrives. The red square is a pocket to keep his tooth safe until the Tooth Fairy comes to leave her surprise.

Connor Bag #2 with Diaper Clutch
Who knew that green and brown paisley could look so cute with denim! This set also includes a diaper clutch. The diaper clutch is the perfect size for a travel size wipe container and 3 or 4 diapers. It's great for keeping your diaper bag organized or to grab for a quick trip. It measures approx. 7 1/2" x 11". Both bags are fully lined. The diaper bag measures approx. 13" x 16 1/2".

Kamarie Bag
I really can't make these bags fast enough to keep up with demand! All the pink and brown bags I've made in the past have had the pink on the bottom of the bag and the brown on top. By changing the fabric around and selecting a striped ribbon it has created a completely new look! The lining is brown with 6 roomy pink pockets.

Pretty in Pink II
What can I say... I love the pink and brown. Adding the bag to this set makes the prefect gift.
Shown: blanket, bib and tote bag. The blanket and bib use a pink striped chenille back. The pockets on the inside of the bag were made from the same fabric as the bib and lined in brown to tie it all together.

Yee Ha
Yee Ha! These fun cowboy diaper bags use a "Willow Bend" bandana print that is very versatile. It looks great with the denim and the khaki. The lining uses the bandana print and had 6 roomy pockets. I also used the bandana fabric with a cream striped chenille to make a coordinating blanket.

Shabby Chic 2
This blanked was assembled like Shabby Chic 1- but I used fabrics with rose and peach tones instead of pink. I also used the cream chenille for the back. The bib added a nice touch to the set. The fabrics in this set reminded me of something you would find in your Grandmother's linen closet when you were a child.
