Black and White and Pink All Over

I loved experimenting with these colors. This customer gave me the color combinations but gave me free reign to create as I wanted. I thought that both sets turned out unique and girly. It is hard to pick a favorite. I loved the embroidery on the swirl set. The flower applique was the perfect touch. But I was so happy with the ruffle on the squares set. It softened the lines and made it girly. For the square blanket I used two cotton fabric layers to make it cooler for the summer. The swirl set used the super soft minkee dot on the back. And I can't forget the bag. I think I am in love... if it is possible to be in love with a bag. Hmmmm...... if only I had a little girl to make this set for.
Enjoy Carleigh and Kassia!

Island Baby

This was really two sets in one. The palm tree design used the super soft blue dot minkee on the back of the blanket and bib. The surf board design used a double layer of the hibiscus for the blanket to make a cooler and more light weight summer blanket.

Jungel Faces

This was a fun set to put together. The jungle baby face fabric was very versatile. I was able to compliment it with blues and greens and there were many animals to choose from. Shown in the set are 2 burp clothes, a blanket, onesie and bib.

Pirate Boy

I loved this set using the pirate themed fabric. I used striped cream chenille on the back of the bib so it would be soft against babies skin. I'm sure that Lexington is a treasure.

Little Eli on Minky

It has been a while since I have worked on a baby set and it was fun designing this set. The set includes a burp cloth, bib, onsie, and blanket made from blue dot minky and a flannel back.

Shabby Chic in Sage

One of the reasons that I love sewing for other people is that I get to experiment with colors that I wouldn't normally pick. The sage chenille on the back of the bib, blanket and bottom of the bag is such a soothing color. Pink and sage are the perfect combination for a little girl.

Pretty in Pink II

What can I say... I love the pink and brown. Adding the bag to this set makes the prefect gift.
Shown: blanket, bib and tote bag. The blanket and bib use a pink striped chenille back. The pockets on the inside of the bag were made from the same fabric as the bib and lined in brown to tie it all together.

Barnyard Baby

Denim, Red and a pudgy horse make the cutest set. The diaper bag's lining is red with six roomy pockets in denim. The ribbon is red, blue and white plaid. The bib and blanket have a super soft and fluffy back with a texture babies love. What a lucky baby!

Shabby Chic 2

This blanked was assembled like Shabby Chic 1- but I used fabrics with rose and peach tones instead of pink. I also used the cream chenille for the back. The bib added a nice touch to the set. The fabrics in this set reminded me of something you would find in your Grandmother's linen closet when you were a child.

This is the updated, modern version of the shabby chic blanket. The blanket and bib have the pink striped chenille back. I'm loving the pink and brown.

UP UP & AWAY

Another original design... Shown: bib, tag blanket, onsie, and burp cloth.

Flower Power

I love this funky flower fabric. Shown: Bib, Onsie and Burp Cloth.

Giraffe Set

This is an oldie but a goodie... It is one of the first sets that I made. The Giraffe design is an applique and I use the chenille so he feels furry.

Puppy Love

Gavin's nursery was decorated in puppies and his Grandma ordered this for her first grandchild. She even sent me a picture of the birth announcement where he was wearing his Gavin onsie. What a cutie! Shown are burpcloth, hooded towel, onsie and bib.

Hudson the Lion

It's hard to tell from the photo but the fabric on the blanket is so soft and fluffy. I also used it on the back of the bib. My bibs have an absorbent cotton center to help keep baby dry.

Pirate Sean

This was a fun set to create. The blanket has a soft striped chenille back. I used the same chenille as the applique fabric in his name. The bib also has the chenille back. The burp cloths are super absorbent (Gerber cloth diapers).
